The Parish Youth Ministry Leader is responsible for implementing a comprehensive youth ministry program that aligns with the principles set forth by the diocesan Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry, in accordance with the 1997 United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) document, Renewing The Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry. The Parish Youth Ministry Leader provides vision and coordination for the parish’s efforts in ministering to young people from grades 7-12. This includes weekly or bi-weekly gatherings for high school and middle school sessions, monthly activities, catechesis, and sacramental preparation for confirmation. Additionally, this role encompasses young adults approximately aged 18 to 30.
