Our Family Statistics and History

Saint Patrick Parish is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the seat of Cumberland County and home to U.S. Army War College, Dickinson College and Penn State Dickinson Law School . It is a parish of the Diocese of Harrisburg, under the administration of Most Reverend Ronald W. Gainer, eleventh Bishop of Harrisburg.

The parish encompasses 500 square miles, serving 2450 households, or approximately 5500 individuals.

Saint Patrick Church, Carlisle maintains two campuses. The historic campus at 152 E. Pomfret Street in downtown Carlisle includes the 1893 “Shrine Church”, the rectory, and the parish offices. The rectory annex, formerly the parochial school classrooms, now house the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, the Deacon Kole Memorial Library, and meeting rooms.

The second campus is located in suburban Carlisle at 87 Marsh Drive (South Middleton Township). This campus includes the larger 1971 church, Elementary school, social hall, and Parish Activity Center gymnasium and meeting space.
