Pilgrimage
Join us on this year’s fall pilgrimage to Barto, PA as we travel to the National Centre for Padre Pio. Registration is $55 per person and includes coach transportation, lunch, a sacred relics presentation and shrine visitation. The deadline for reservation to include lunch is October 23rd . The bus will depart the Parish Activity Center Parking Lot at 9:00 AM and is estimated to return by 5:15 PM.
Trunk or Treat
All are invited to join us for this year's Trunk or Treat. Go trunk to trunk collecting candy and prizes from decorated spaces. Costumes are encouraged!

PRIESTS’ ANNUAL CONTINUING EDUCATION CONFERENCE OCTOBER 1-6, 2023
As our diocesan priests will be in Hunt Valley, MD for the week of October 1-6, these are the daily Masses that will be available within the Cumberland / Perry Deanery:
Saint Joseph Parish, Mechanicsburg
8:30 AM Mass Monday through Friday
6:45 PM Mass Friday
Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital Chapel
6:10 AM Mass Monday through Friday
Saint Theresa Parish, New Cumberland
6:30 AM Monday through Friday
For sacramental emergencies in any of the parishes in Cumberland and Perry Counties, as well as emergencies at UPMC Carlisle, UPMC West Shore Hospital and Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, Father Richard O’Nyanwaro, A.J. will be available. Please call Saint Joseph Parish at 717-766-9433. If outside of business hours, press “2” and leave a message if no one answers.
If the emergency is taking place at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital (717-782-3131) or Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital (717-763-2100), callers should contact the pastoral care office of those hospitals for the chaplain on call.

Family Movie Night
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society, will be collecting Men's and Women's small, medium and large NEW winter coats, for the Veteran's Stability Initiative Program, at Family Movie Night. They also will be collecting gloves and warm socks for our Veteran's in need. These items will be distributed at the Cumberland County VA Clinic.
If you wish to provide a financial donation, please visit “Online Giving” on our parish website and follow the prompt to the SVdP button, OR place cash or a check (payable to SVdP- memo line-veterans collection) in a labeled envelope for SVdP and put in the collection basket or mail or drop off to the Parish Office. Thank you for remembering our veterans. Let's do all we can to keep them warm this Winter!
