Parish Office Closed

The Parish Offices will be closed on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in honor of Star Wiskeman.

Star Wiskeman - Parish Office Manager

On the evening of July 27, our Star went to her heavenly rest.  A dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother, most of us knew her as the anchor to the Saint Patrick Parish office and community.  Her forever smiling face and pleasant demeanor welcomed each and every visitor to the office and on the phone. She had the priviledge, and one which she didn't take lightly, to welcome numerous pastors and parochial vicars over her 32 years and tried earnestly to make them feel welcome, loved and in-charge! She succeeded.

While starting to plan her "retirement" for next year,  Star started to think about the many ways that would encompass her soon to be free days and time.  While this we know now wasn't to be, we also can remember fondly the gleam in her eye of the possibilities.  God's plan of having Star sit at the front of the pearly gates directing traffic and answering the phones was indeed put into place maybe too quickly for what we would have liked, but, each of us that knew her, worked with her, shared stories and fun times with her and loved her know that our sadness will soon dissipate and we will fully embrace her and her place in heaven.
